We also need an efficient and effectives way to research competition, get more out of our campaigns, and streamline the whole marketing process. That’s what AffPortal is designed to do. Once you login to the membership area, you’ll notice the interface is categorized into 4 parts. There’s the research section where you can research keywords, URLs, and more. The first tool is the Quantcast & Alexa URL database which finds the top searched websites for a keyword. You can use this to run PPV or PPC campaigns on these high trafficked sites. Next is the niche keyword database. There are over 170 niches that come with 1000 keyword list per niche. This is given to you to give you some ideas to get started on a campaign. The next tool in the search tool is the keyword database which contains over 44 million keyword phrases. This is great for building keyword lists and finding niches. The final research tool is the AOL keyword database which gives you insight on how AOL users search. Let’s move on to the Tools section. There is the URL Slap Chop. You can type in a URL and when you click chop, it brings back multiple combinations of how people are searching for a site by typing in the URL in the search engines (ie. Google.com, www.google.com, google . com, etc.). The next tool is the keyword mashup generator. This tool basically mixes the prefix, seed, and suffix keywords and spits out a wide range of keyword combinations, giving you a bigger keyword lists. Then there’s the URL scraper is a tool you use to gather URLs for up to the first 50 pages for your given keyword. This gives you back a list of URLs where you can potentially advertise and run your advertising campaigns on. And if you need to write the actual ads, you can use the Adwords Swipe File that will pull in advertiser’s ads to help you assist in the Google Ad writing process. The last tool is the Adwords Sniper which goes through Google and finds you sites that are running Adsense for the keyword you have typed in. You’re not left in the dark with these tools.
